Bernadine Fried – Founder, Clinical Director
Clinical Director Bernadine Fried is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist and has been treating Addiction for over twenty years. Bernadine has advanced training in EMDR , is a certified Equine therapist, and has vast experience in working with PTSD and Addiction. Bernadine was one of the founders and was the Clinical Director of Wonderland Treatment Center.
Bernadine has lead staff training seminars at some of the top treatment Centers in the country including Crossroads Center in Antigua, Promises and Visions. Ms. Fried has contributed and been a consultant on many articles on Addiction including The Los Angeles Times, The London Times and New Yorker magazine. Bernadine implements the most intensive and cutting edge methods in treating chemical dependency, using an all-encompassing approach, communicating with a team of specialists on the clients’ behalf, and is committed to changing the lives of people suffering from addictions.
Dr. Stephen Dansiger, PsyD - Executive Director
Stephen Dansiger has provided training, education, leadership, coaching and therapy for a diverse population for many years. Holding a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, he has created and run groups at several top treatment facilities, as well as serving as a Primary Therapist. In his private practice, he specializes in all substance and behavioral addictions, as well as working with PTSD, Complex PTSD, depression, anxiety and other disorders. He is soon to be a fully EMDRIA Certified EMDR therapist and uses it extensively in his private practice as well as with clients at ONE80CENTER. He has 20 years of experience as a Trainer, Educator, and Life Coach, working in every environment from pre-K through universities, corporations and government agencies. He has worked for almost 20 years with various populations on issues of Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, and Substance Abuse Prevention. His over 30-year career as a professional musician and writer gives him a special attunement to clients from the creative community. He has been a practicing Zen Buddhist for over 20 years, including a year long residence at a Zen monastery. He has led meditation groups for several years, and was trained and has served as an Interfaith Minister. In combination with training in DBT and other Mindfulness Based therapeutic tools, he helps ONE80CENTER clients bring mindfulness into their recovery.
