Extended Care
In developing our treatment options, ONE80CENTER realized that different clients have different needs. The central focus of any client’s treatment must be the development of a long-term working program of sobriety. The twenty-eight day model of treatment was not implemented by rehabilitation centers because it was proven to be the most effective length of stay and model for early recovery. Instead, twenty-eight days became the model because it was the amount of time that insurance was willing to cover the costs for residential alcoholism and addiction treatment.
ONE80CENTER understands that different clients will require different lengths of stay, both in the residential treatment program and beyond. Accepting this reality, ONE80CENTER has implemented an extended care program that offers sober living to its clients beyond residential treatment.
The ONE80CENTER extended care program applies to clients who have completed the residential treatment program and have returned to work. By entering into the sober living program, the client is able to stay in direct proximity to ONE80CENTER while re-establishing their place in their external lives. Sober living allows the client to maintain the support of the ONE80CENTER staff and operations.
By keeping in close contact, the client extends their transition period, reinforcing their recovery through proximity. Although sober living is not for everyone, the option offers each client the ability to model their early recovery around their individual needs. The supportive community of ONE80CENTER, including our alumni, remains a valuable resource throughout the process of long-term recovery. ONE80CENTER believes in fostering a flexible atmosphere that allows clients to maintain sobriety and succeed on their personal road to recovery.
