Creative Discovery Group led by Katherine Roberts
Creative Discovery is an expressive therapy that includes mindfulness, painting, sculpting, drawing, visual journaling and processing. This group engages the healing power of the arts that is inherent in each of us. The emphasis is on the creative process rather than on technique or expertise. It is an opportunity to express one’s self authentically and spontaneously in a safe environment. Creative Discovery helps recovering individuals express emotions, explore unresolved trauma and attachment issues that goes beyond words.
Catherine Roberts is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated from the University of Arizona, and received her Master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Art Therapy and Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute.
