Individualized Programs
By offering individualized treatment programs, Primary Care at ONE80CENTER becomes about the client and not about a rote methodology of how alcoholism and addiction should be treated. Our trained staff applies their experience and expertise to our client and their specific circumstances. When putting together a treatment plan, we carefully consider a client’s personal history, including their family history, professional background, and current living situation.
With individualized plans, we are able to address the specific needs of each client. Client-driven treatment means that the client’s treatment program is specifically tailored to the client’s addictive syndrome and life challenges. Our individualized treatment plans have evolved to include a variety of constructive groups, ranging from Art Therapy and Psychodrama to Equine Therapy and Anger Management. As a result, each client is met at the point where they currently are, providing the opportunity to address the base issues that lie behind their alcoholism and addictive behaviors.
ONE80CENTER offers Relaxed Restrictions. This constructive policy of Relaxed Restrictions, however, does not mean that we place anything above the central focus on the recovery of our clients. We allow our clients to use their computers and cell phones because we understand that cutting a person off from the rest of the world does not foster true long-term recovery. The process of recovery is, and always will be, the number one priority of the ONE80CENTER treatment team. We do not allow these freedoms and amenities to be abused or manipulated.
In developing our treatment options, ONE80CENTER realized that different clients have different needs. The central focus of any client’s treatment must be the development of a long-term working program of sobriety. The twenty-eight day model of treatment was not implemented by rehabilitation centers because it was proven to be the most effective length of stay and model for early recovery. Instead, twenty-eight days became the model because it was the amount of time that insurance was willing to cover the costs for residential alcoholism and addiction treatment. Together with the client, we evaluate the most appropriate amount of time to be at ONE80CENTER based on their desired path to recovery.
Additionally, we provide a unique service with our NO PET LEFT BEHIND program. Entering recovery should not mean that a client has to sacrifice time with or give away a beloved pet. At ONE80CENTER, we believe that entering treatment should never generate additional negative consequences for our clients. Rather than cause new problems upon the onset of recovery, we believe in fostering positive solutions.
